Your privacy is not an afterthought here. The nature of this work, self-dialogue, shadow inquiry, somatic practice, recovery, means that what you share with A Spiritual Paradigm may be personal in ways that go beyond a typical coaching or wellness website. This policy is written to be clear, honest, and complete about how your information is handled.

By using this website, booking a session, joining the Patreon community, or submitting a contact form, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

What Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

When you book a discovery session, send an email, complete a contact form, or communicate via Facebook Messenger, you may provide:

  • Payment information (processed directly by PayPal, not stored by this site)
  • Your name and email address
  • Any personal information you choose to share in your message or inquiry
  • Scheduling preferences and availability

Information collected automatically

When you visit this website, certain technical information is collected automatically through WordPress and any active plugins:

  • IP address and general location (country/region level)
  • Browser type and device information
  • Pages visited and time spent on the site
  • Referring URL (how you found the site)

Information from third-party platforms

If you interact with A Spiritual Paradigm through Patreon, TidyCal, or Facebook, those platforms collect information according to their own privacy policies. A Spiritual Paradigm may receive limited information from those platforms, such as your name and email address, as part of the service relationship.

Information collected by A Spiritual Paradigm is used only for the following purposes:

  • To send confirmations, session reminders, or follow-up communications directly related to services you have requested
  • To notify you of product launches or new offerings, only if you have explicitly opted in to receive such notifications

What we do not do: Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. A Spiritual Paradigm does not run advertising and does not participate in data brokerage of any kind.

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are in place to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, if you have specific concerns about sensitive information, please raise them directly before sharing.

Your Rights — Including California CCPA Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • The right to know what personal information has been collected about you and how it is used
  • The right to delete personal information collected about you, subject to certain exceptions
  • The right to opt out of the sale of your personal information (A Spiritual Paradigm does not sell personal information)
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights

Children’s Privacy

This website and the services offered are intended for adults. A Spiritual Paradigm does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information through this site, please contact me immediately so it can be removed.

By accessing this website or engaging with any services offered by A Spiritual Paradigm, you agree to the following terms. These terms apply to all visitors, clients, workshop participants, community members, and anyone who interacts with content published here.

If you do not agree with these terms, you are free to leave this site at any time.

Scope of Services

A Spiritual Paradigm offers the following services:

  • Spiritual lifestyle coaching (1:1, online)
  • 12-step recovery coaching (1:1, online)
  • Reiki energy sessions (remote)
  • The Art of Journal Keeping: A Self-Dialogue workshop (via Patreon)
  • Community membership (via Patreon)
  • Blog content and educational resources (free, via this website)

Services are provided by Connie, sole practitioner of A Spiritual Paradigm, operating from San Diego, California.

Section 2 · Please Read Carefully

Scope of Practice — What This Work Is and Is Not

Coaching is not therapy or counseling. The services offered by A Spiritual Paradigm, including spiritual lifestyle coaching, recovery coaching, and the Self-Dialogue workshop, are coaching and educational in nature. They are not psychotherapy, mental health treatment, medical care, or clinical services of any kind. Connie is a certified coach and practitioner, not a licensed therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, or medical doctor.

Specifically, the services offered here:

  • Do not diagnose, treat, or cure any mental health condition, medical condition, or disorder
  • Are not a substitute for therapy, psychiatric care, or medical treatment
  • Are not appropriate for individuals in active mental health crisis or early recovery without an established professional support team in place
  • Do not create a therapist-client relationship or any clinically privileged relationship

If you are currently in crisis, experiencing suicidal ideation, or in early recovery, please contact a qualified mental health professional or crisis service before engaging with these services. Crisis resources are available in the footer of every page of this site.

Emergency Resources Available

The following resources are national crisis hotlines.

Reiki

Reiki is an energy-based wellness practice. It is not a medical treatment and makes no claims to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any physical or mental health condition. Reiki is offered as a complementary practice and is not a substitute for professional medical care.

Results

Coaching and personal development work involves individual effort and outcomes vary. A Spiritual Paradigm makes no guarantees of specific results. Testimonials or examples of progress, where shared, reflect individual experiences and are not a promise of what any particular client will experience.

Section 3

Payment, Cancellation & Refunds

Session booking

Discovery sessions are complimentary. Paid coaching sessions are scheduled through TidyCal and payment is arranged directly with Connie. Payment terms are confirmed at the time of engagement. Sessions charged on TidyCal are processed through PayPal.

Reiki sessions

Reiki sessions are billed at the rate published on the services page at the time of booking. Payment is processed via PayPal. A package of four sessions is currently offered; payment is due in advance.

Cancellation

Please provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations or no-shows without notice may be charged at the full session rate at Connie’s discretion. Life happens, if something comes up, communicate as soon as possible and accommodations will be made where reasonable.

Patreon membership

Patreon membership is billed monthly through Patreon’s platform according to their billing terms. Cancellation is managed through your Patreon account. Refunds for partial months are not available through A Spiritual Paradigm, please contact Patreon directly for billing disputes.

Future products

Refund terms for books, journals, and card decks will be published at the time of product launch. This section will be updated accordingly.

All original content published on this website, including but not limited to written articles, the Self-Dialogue methodology, workshop materials, prompts, course content, graphics, and the A Spiritual Paradigm brand, is the intellectual property of Connie and A Spiritual Paradigm, and is protected by United States copyright law.

  • Content that is deliberately harmful, triggering without purpose, or inappropriate for a site about healing and self-development

Respectful disagreement is welcome. This site is about honest inquiry — not performance, not uniformity. Debate that comes from a place of genuine engagement is part of the spirit of the work.
